Ex-Skyscanner Chairman Margaret Rice-Jones joins Origami’s Board to help guide next phase of growth
Origami Energy, the technology platform provider for energy markets, has appointed Margaret Rice-Jones, a proven leader of growth businesses, to join the company’s board of directors as Chairman.
With over 25 years’ experience defining winning strategies, Rice-Jones has the expertise to deliver profitable growth and innovation in all areas of a technology business. Rice-Jones was previously chairman of Skyscanner before its acquisition by Ctrip for £1.4bn.

Rice-Jones is currently chairman at Openet and CTRLio, and senior independent director of Xaar plc. As well as having a successful executive career at Motorola Networks and Aircom International, Rice-Jones has also delivered exits at high-tech businesses such as QUMAS and NewBay Software.
