Origami wins Future Planet Award 2018

The Future Planet Awards, run by Future Planet Capital in partnership with Global University Venturing and held Tuesday 22nd May at the Global Corporate Venturing Symposium in London, aim to raise the profile of new and growing firms that will profitably impact global challenges.
The global competition had high quality applications from innovative start-up companies from 14 countries and three continents across the world and identified 6 category winners operating in areas of impact such as climate change, education, health, security and sustainable growth. As the winner, Origami Energy gains exposure to potential investment as well as introductions to investors, mentors and Future Planet’s global network.
Category winners pitched to an audience of leading investors and influencers. The distinguished judging panel chaired by Lord Norman Foster assessed each presentation against five criteria – immediacy, conviction, economics, magnitude and disruptiveness – before acknowledging Origami Energy as the overall winner of The Awards.
